ABOUT FORTUNE

Fortune International Realty was founded in 1983 by the Defortuna Family. Since then, the company has expanded to include brokerage activities, property management, financing, new development sales and proprietary developments.

Originally, all of the company's offices were located in Key Biscayne. Later Fortune acquired a real estate company in Brickell and another one in Coral Gables. In 2001 a new branch was opened in Brickell in order to handle the sales of Jade Residences at Brickell Bay, the first proprietary development of its parent company, Fortune International. Other proprietary developments include Artech in Aventura, Jade Beach and Jade Ocean in Sunny Isles Beach. The developments location determined also the geographical expansion of the realty branches, such as the one in Sunny Isles Beach and Weston.

Throughout the years, Fortune has been successful and effective in adapting to extreme market changes, a quality that has brought great advantages to its associates and clients. Fortune has strived to maintain the personalized and pristine service that launched the company into one of South Florida’s largest independently owned real estate companies. It was awarded “Best Real Estate Agent and Best Floridian Agent” by The Bentley International Property Awards.

Today Fortune continues to provide the same quality of service and enjoys recognized expertise in the South Florida Real estate market. The firm is member of Who’s Who in Real Estate, a premier global organization that brings together worldwide industry leaders and luxury properties from all over the world. Fortune International Realty has currently 6 offices in South Florida with nearly 1,000 associates. Its international broker network reaches prospective buyers worldwide.
